More Sudanese Refugees Coming to Uganda

The (South) Sudan Civil War has been years in the making, beginning in 2013.  Uganda is its neighbor to the south. 

The Ugandan government estimates over one million refugees have arrived in Uganda since the start of 2016.  Approximately 85% of all arriving refugees are women and children, who require government aid to survive. The men remain in South Sudan to defend homes and property against opposing forces. Read More East Africa News
