Uganda’s Largest Export Crop

Although Uganda’s largest crops are bananas & plantain, this fertile country also grows a number of other equatorial crops. In fact, their largest exports are almost all agricultural.

An Agrarian Nation

About 80% of total Ugandan exports are agricultural, coffee making up a relatively large percentage of that total, followed by tea, cotton, copper, oil & fish. The country also exports apparel, hides, skins, vanilla, vegetables, fruits & cut flowers. Their main industries stem from the rich diversity of flora & fauna found in this lush equatorial country.
