At ROWAN we work hard to help the women, children & young people whose lives have been affected by HIV/ AIDS. Our primary objectives are keeping everyone fed, healthy & learning new things or skills. Your donations & sponsorships help us to see our vision, allowing us to focus on the important things: hugging, loving & building a future for those who need it. The holiday season may be over, but the new year is a great time to start giving hope to a bright young man!
About Saban
Saban comes from the Bugiri district & lives with his mother. He is currently enrolled at a vocational institute & while at school he misses the millet bread & fish that his mother prepares every evening while he is home. Saban’s loves the color green because to him it represents life & squirrels because of the sounds they make. When he is at home he helps mother graze the cows & tend the garden.
Building the Future
Saban is currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering at the Pioneer Vocational institute in Iganga. We could not be more proud of Saban as he is in his final year & by early next year he will be graduating. After this he will begin his career to sustain himself, his mother & his future family. ROWAN could not have helped him without the faithful support of donors & sponsors. Sponsoring Saban will enable him to finish school & move on to the school of life.
