Mirabu is one of ROWAN’s loving caregivers. She has one child of her own, and cares for an orphan in the community. She lost her husband years ago of HIV/AIDS, and lives in a remote village in Eastern Uganda. It is a miracle that she has lived this long with the tumor on her neck- and much of that is due to the hope that the Lord has given her through ROWAN. You will find Mirabu tending her garden, fetching water, and even attending our free literacy classes! She Always has a smile on her face, even when dealing with daily struggles. She is a blessing in the community, and she is in need of someone to continue to encourage her in her faith!
