At ROWAN we work every day to help women, children & young people in need. Our first objectives are to keep everyone fed, healthy & learning new things or skills. About Sumeyi
Sumeyi comes from the Bugiri district & he is an amazing young man. He lost his father to HIV/ AIDS years ago, so when he is not at school he lives with his mother. What is his favorite food? With gentle laughter he whispers “I loves chicken & millet bread, because it’s so nutritious.”
Making a Name
Sumeyi is currently pursuing higher education at a trade school where he is learning how to paint vehicles. Faithfully, every Saturday evening he helps his mother weed her maize & millet plants. Sponsoring Sumeyi in 2018 & 2019 will help him finish his certificate in this specialty vocation.
