Recently we posted a flashback featuring our 2010 Singapore launch event where people came together to support the ROWAN cause. Today we want to share another fun day of celebration & fundraising in Acton, California in August of 2010. The LOVE ROWAN event featured live music, food & handcrafted jewelry. Some pretty amazing patrons came together to hear what has been happening at ROWAN since January of that year.

These fun flashbacks give us an easy way to share the progression of life at ROWAN, while sharing new (& old) projects that we love. After over a decade, ROWAN (with your donations) has helped a lot of deserving people live a better, more fulfilling life. Enabling them to grow personally, spiritually & financially. Thanks to everyone who helped make this & other ROWAN projects possible!
Celebrated Milestones
All of the items on this list were accomplished in 6 months. Wow! Again, this is all thanks to the support of our readers & donors. We couldn’t do any of these great things without your help.
1. Bought new land in Mawanga
2. Music, Drama & Dance Ministry began
3. Scholarships to 3 of the 5 secondary students
4. Partnership with Samaritan’s Purse
5. Refurbished the homes of 5 of our orphans
6. Healthcare education
7. Website completed
8. Singapore launch event
9. Water research began for village
10. Kelsey moving to Uganda!
By the end of the night ROWAN raised over $6,000, most of which went towards digging a well in the village!
