Emergencies
We deliver emergency services as required across the community.
Bridging the Gap
In development work, there will always be immediate needs to accompany the sustainable projects implemented. As we plant passion fruit gardens, the women and children still need food on their table. Because our goal is to create enough sustainability for the ROWAN members to support themselves in a few years to come, there are areas where ROWAN can fill the gap. As urgent needs arise, both Uganda & USA Board members vote together on how to best utilize these funds. In the end, the Uganda board knows best & leads the way.
How We’ve used Urgent Needs Funds in the Past

How Do We Plan to Use Resources in the Future?
- In August of 2011, ROWAN began building a Hall of Hope to house all activities on our property! Working on finishing it by end of 2013!
- Continue improving water systems in the community.
- Plan on a weekly/monthly food program for the members.
- Continue improving the homes of members to ensure security.
- Emergency medical needs outside the regular check-ups.
