How did ROWAN empower the community?

ROWAN is committed to empowering the community with their land rights as Uganda citizens. Whitegold Associates state, “With partnership from ROWAN we were able to execute a legal empowerment program in Bugiri district initially aimed at empowering 1,200 person within these communities concerning Mining rules and policies, awareness of their civic rights and resolve legal conflicts. Our team started the inception and implementation on the 16th October 2023 to 15th December 2023.

As 1,090 people were directly empowered over the course of 16 sessions, it indirectly educated over 10,000 people across the region!
